Background
After graduating Cum Laude, special honors in psychology, from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Bonet completed doctoral studies at Nova Southeastern University, specializing in the treatment and evaluation of families, individuals and couples. Shortly after earning a PhD, she entered private practice as well as pursued a technical career. She earned a special certification in the treatment and evaluation of Perinatal Mood Disorders (Prenatal and Postpartum Anxiety and Depression) in 2008. Her private practice is located in the Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County area in Hollywood, Florida.

She's been interviewed as a Couples expert on Lifetime television and has written three books "Your Marriage CAN Change Overnight," "Birth Stories from the Yogafairy™: Real Tales of Birth from Yogafairy™ Mamas," and "There Goes the Brainstem: Tales from the Trenches of Early Motherhood."  She's also been quoted in the New York Times, and in both the Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel.

Consultation

The half of the week that she's not "Dr. Bonet," she teaches Prenatal Yoga and runs an International Mama Community. Her prenatal yoga classes have been repeatedly featured in the Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald.
